My First Shaped Card

I do not have a lot of large dies to choose from but this is one of my favorites so I chose it to try my first shaped class. I am part of the online class "A Cut Above". It's not too late to sign up.Enjoying the videos to see how everyone else has been using their dies.

Fun With Target Tape

Thanks to Susan sharing some of papertape from Target since I was unable to find any at my local store. The ladies in the Flickr Hero Arts group are so kind and complimentary and encouraging! It has been fun getting to know them.

I have made several of these cards because I fell in love with this fantastic Newspaper Flower stamp from Hero Arts using this basic layout just in slightly different variations. So here it is again. The background stamp is a must have Hero Arts stamp too!  I was able to add that sweet papertape from Target that Susan shared.

So glad you stopped by!

I white embossed the Hero Arts Leaf and Floral Background stamp (CG405) on a yellow textured card from DCWV.

The Hero Arts Newspaper Flower stamp (CG412) was stamped on orange and green cardstock and then cut out and layered with pop dots between to give them dimension.

The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.

My wonderful banner strip is the papertape Susan shared with me from Target. I  LOVE IT! Thanks again Susan!
