Zinnias

I really do love zinnias. They come in all shapes and colors and are fairly easy to grow.

So when I saw this Stampendous Zinnia stamp CRQ170 on 123Stitch, I knew that I wanted it. Here is the result:

The Zinnia is actually stamped on some yellow dotted paper. It's hard to tell that from the picture.

Enamel Dots

I embossed the zinnia stamp with Black Opaque embossing powder to make the outline pop - did the same with the leaves. Colored the center and highlighted the inside of petals with Copic Marker Y38.

New "Old" Stuff

As I was checking out my some of the card blogs I visit on a regular basis I found this gorgeous creation by Peet Roeven. She does such beautiful work. 
Here is what inspired me:

When I saw this stamp, I had this flashback. Don't I have this stamp? So I started looking through my stash :) AND there it was and I had never inked it up - shame on me! So here it is:

I loved her white embossing on the blue so I did the same.

Butterfly Die

I love butterflies anyway and this Hero Arts Butterfly Die is beautiful! Yes, it is large but I just love  the bold statement it makes. Here are a couple of birthday cards I made.

I got my inspiration for this one from Kim on the Flickr photostream for Hero Arts.

I recently received an order from Simon Says Stamp and here is the latest card using a few of the stamps and dies.

New stamp and die is Simon Says Stamp Set: Circle Friends and Tri Circle Die.

Sentiment: Hero Arts "Happy Birthday" that I cut and unfortunately have not put the two back with the original set :(

Used Die-namics ZigZag die to make the paper look like a picket fence.
