My New Stamps - The Craft's Meow

I was so beyond excited when I won The Craft's Meow Blog Hop last week. I had a chance to sit down and play and put together a real quick card just to get a feel for them. I can say that beyond a shadow of a doubt I am going to have fun with them.

I used my Hero Arts Shadow Mid-Tone Inks Green Hills, Butter Bar, Cornflower and Wet Cement.

Simon Says Dotty Dot

I love polka dot papers anyway so Simon Says Stamp Blog Challenge Monday is all about Dots so that got me excited. Check out this week's challenge.

I knew in my head that I wanted a polka dot background with a "lattice" to put flowers on. I know there are lattice dies out there but when you don't have one, what do you do? You make one :)

Here is my result:

I cut 1/8" strips to create my "lattice".

One More Tuesday Trigger

If you can tell, I have had so much fun working with the colors and inspiration photo this week at Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. Just getting this last one in under the wire.

The papers are scraps from some of my other Tuesday Trigger cards this week and scraps from other projects. I just HATE to throw paper away! I was so excited when I thought of putting a flower on this one and remembered that I had not used my new PaperTrey Ink Beautiful Blooms #1 Die Collection.

Starburst Smile

We have had many rainy days here in South Georgia which is not very typical for us. However, with rain we have lots of luscious flowers BUT having to mow grass more often. AND after the rain showers it gets pretty humid here. HOWEVER, I choose to smile because I have so many things for which I am thankful. Here is a card that I hopes brightens your day.
