Girl Power

As I mentioned in an earlier post I recently ordered several stamps from Whipper Snapper Design. Sheila put me onto to these and I am loving them.

Here are two more that I have made using these stamps. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by!

This stamp is Girl Power. Colored these sweet things with copics.
Sentiment is Hero Arts CL305. Going to enter this in Hero Arts February Challenge.

I posted this little gal the other day using a different background. Love her. The stamp is Little Thank Ewe. My sentiment on the inside says "For being sweet, lovable ewe!"
The background stamp is Hero Arts S5215 Clouds stamped with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Pool.

Friend

During the Clean and Simple Online Card Class with Kristin, Jennifer, and Julie, we were given fantastic ideas for cards and wonderful suggestions concerning "tools" we could use to help us in our card making. I have always had such difficulty getting a clean embossing and had tried suggestions such as using a fabric softener wipe such as Bounce. It was suggested in the class that we use a Powder Tool Applicator. I purchased one and have fallen in love with embossing now - no extra powder on my card. LOVE IT! Mine always looked messy because of stray embossing powder.

Here is another entry for Hero Arts Challenge for the month of February. I used one of their sketches for this one.

Thank you for stopping by!

I used pattern paper for my background and the die cut background label. The butterfly is made out of another piece of the corrugated cardboard that I had gotten as packing material in a package. I sized and printed out the Hero Arts Digi Flutterbies - Papillon. I used it as a pattern to draw the outline on the cardboard and then cut it out.

I used "Fun Wire" to make the antenna for the butterfly.

Sentiment is Hero Arts: CL520
White Embossing powder
Bling
Twine

Thought for the day:
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, the LORD your God will be with your wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Cupcake Liner Flower

I couldn't wait to try some of the flower techniques in the March 2012 issue of CardMaker. Here is one of them. I bought several of the patterned smaller liners from Michaels. I tried it with a regular size liner and the flower was HUGE - still plan on using it but on a much larger card size - like a 5x7.

Thought it turned out really cute and Michaels had such cute patterns. Thank you for stopping by!

Supplies:
Not sure where the background paper came from :(
Green Polka Dot Cupcake Liner - Michaels
Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch
Label: Sizzix 656537 (3 Dies)
Sentiment: Hero Arts CL508 - distressed around edges with Broken China Distress Ink
Felt Button

Thought for the day:
