Looped Flower

Haven't used My Hero Arts Looped Flower stamp in a while. I heat embossed the stamp with black embossing powder and then colored it with my copics. 

The Flower and Leaf (Penny Black-Petal Party) are heat embossed with white embossing powder. The flower was embossed on vellum.

Friendship

Here is a set of cards that I made for several of my friends who have persevered through some difficult times in the past six months. Some of them have lost loved ones and others have been battling cancer. I know that when I was diagnosed with cancer it was so special to me when someone would take the time to call or send a card. My brother recently said "Our family teaches us how to love and God gives us friends to share that love."

Old Trucks

I don't know what there is about old trucks but they just seem to have a certain attraction to all the guys. My husband is one of them. He has driven more trucks than he has cars and his favorite old truck is a 1964 Ford. He has some sweet memories of that one.

Heroes

I imagine that many of you have someone in your life that is your hero - in our younger days that person may have been someone who was strong and adventurous - in our eyes they were like Superman - "Faster than a speeding bullet! More powerful than a locomotive! Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!" However, now I see a heroes greatness is not only the ability to help others escape desperate situations but their greatness starts within in their heart. 

I am so thankful that God blessed me with two heroes - my dad and my husband. I don't think I ever tell them enough how blessed I am that they are a part of my life.
