You Have The Key To My Heart

I used  Jennifer's concept of "watercolor blocking" technique in our Clean and Simple Card Making Class again only I did not use distress inks or the watercolor paper so I guess I just used her "blocking" technique :) I was much happier with the result of my background. The next time I will add more colors to the background but I was trying to use colors in the Hero Arts Challenge for January.

So here is my card. Thanks for stopping by!

Hearts: Hero Arts CG426, Hero Arts E3907 (an older rubber stamp) - all embossed with white opaque embossing powder.
Background Ink: Hero Hues Chalk Ink Iris and Punch
Sentiment and Key: Hero Arts CL276
Wrapped twine around the hearts and added a little bling :)

Thought for the day:
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciple indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31-32

  1. Love your striking background, Pam! The hearts are so beautifully embossed!

  2. Lovely card... love the colors u chose and those embossed hearts are beautiful.

  3. Oh yes, I remember commenting on this one on Flickr! I love it! I think you were really unique and spot on with the colour blocking technique and those kraft and white hearts look awesome against that background!

  4. Wowie, love this card. Beautiful striking background and love combination of colors you used for the hearts.
